The Springfield Regional Arts Council Board of Directors has selected Leah Hamilton Jenkins as new Executive Director.
The board on May 20 voted unanimously to install Jenkins with a start date of Monday, June 1, 2009.

One of the goals of the Springfield, Missouri Cultural Plan is to increase communication and awareness of the arts. Given the rising popularity of blogging, this site is a pilot project to test the level of interest and effectiveness of this venue.
