Continuing in it's third year, the Writing Workshop for Teens offers young writers the opportunity to flex their talents and explore areas of self-expression through their writing. Poetry, short-story, non-fiction, songwriting, and scriptwriting are all covered. Participation is free and open to the public, and no prior registration is required. July 30th...Peckers Beach...hint: there is no beach. Head (east) out Battlefield Road, over Hwy 65. Follow the winding road toward Kinsers bridge but turn left (north) instead of going over the bridge/river. This is the James River and there are many nice river sceens with parking and shade. Oh! we dont have an official rain out...too windy out...too hot out...too cold out...or the suns in my eyes out ;) For the first timers...We have no rules.
