Photography Exhibit Opening on St. John's Campus

The Springfield Regional Arts Council's Art In Public Places Program will sponsor a one-woman photography exhibit in the Facial Plastic Surgery offices of Dr. Keith A. LaFerriere, 1965 S. Fremont, Suite 120, from July 16 through Aug. 8.
Featured local photographer Jennifer Linders will participate in a "Meet the Artist" reception, July 29 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm which is free and open to the public.
Linders, of Marshfield, is an operating room nurse at St. John's. Throughout her life, she has been influenced by her surroundings, from the secluded family farm full of mystery to the days of hunting and fishing with her father. All of the gifts in her life and nature have shaped her ability to capture the often fleeting beauty and wonderful forms of her surroundings with a camera. She aims to explore through photography what we often overlook in the rush and hurry of everyday life.
The offices of Dr. Keith LaFerriere have had exhibits of more than 20 artists showing almost 200 pieces of artwork since December 2007.
