The Skinny Improv's The Mystery Hour returns with Robert Westenberg and Billy Long

Wednesday, July 30, 2008

The Skinny Improv Announces improvised talk show and guests for The Mystery Hour.

The Mystery Hour is back from its summer hiatus for the Season 3 premier. We are returning on FRIDAY fresh, tanned, with a dash of poison ivy!

If you were there for the Season Two Finale you'll need to come to see if Jeff survived the two gunshot wounds from the stranger under the stage. If he did, will he still have adult braces?

Remember, we've moved to Friday nights for the new season

Here is the info:
Friday, August 1st
10:15 pm
Skinny Improv Comedy Theater

GUESTS:
BOB WESTENBERG, Drury Theatre Professor and former Broadway star!
BILLY LONG, Locally famous auctioneer. You know, the guy from the billboards with the cowboy hat!
MOON HONEY, great unique local duo.

As always it's only $3 and includes hilarious videos and cameos by your favorite Skinny actors.

The Mystery Hour is an improvised late night talk show in the style of David Letterman and Jay Leno. Skinny Improv Mainstage performer and fan favorite "Mystery" Jeff Houghton host this hilarious show using his knowledge that he acquired (copies and errands) working at the Late Show with David Letterman, with appearances by other Skinny Improv actors. It is in the traditional late night talk show format with a monologue, comedy sketches, interviews, and musical guests. The only difference is that it is live in person, so you never know what is going to happen. The Mystery Hour is performed in front of an audience at the Skinny Improv theater. The show comes at you once a month.
