Operazzi To Feature Springfield Regional Opera Young Artist, Miranda MacGregor

Springfield Regional Opera's Operazzi will feature soprano Miranda MacGregor on Sunday, August 17 from 6 PM - 8PM at Nonna's Italian American Café in downtown Springfield.
MacGregor has performed several roles as a Springfield Regional Opera Young Artist, including 'Despina' in Cosi Fan Tutte, 'Cherubino' in The Three Little Pigs, 'Queen' and 'The Spindle' in Sleeping Beauty, and 'Little Red' in Little Red Riding Hood. She was also 'Kate Pinkerton' in the SRO production of Madame Butterfly in fall 2007. In 2006, she attended the International Lyric Academy in Rome where she played 'Papagena' in Mozart's The Magic Flute. A recent graduate of Missouri State University, where she received a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance, Miranda plans to move to Vienna, Austria this Fall.

Operazzi is a program of the Springfield Regional Opera and is featured as part of Nonna's Cast Party.
