If you plan to make your art a business (even if you sell artwork through a gallery), tax and business issues surround everything you do. In this seminar you’ll learn the basics about choosing an entity and maintaining it.   You'll also learn the basics requirements for reporting sales tax in Missouri, and learn some basics for reporting the income from your arts business to taxing authorities. So many artists and arts organizations get themselves into trouble because they do not know how to take care of their bookkeeping needs on their own and are afraid that they cannot afford professional help.
