Call for artists: Small Wonders

This year, Waverly House celebrates our 26th year of sponsoring an art auction and fundraiser in conjunction with our fall juried exhibit to support

local children’s charities. Again this year, a portion of all sales and proceeds will benefit A Sporting Chance, an organization which provides sports programs for any person with a disability as well as at-risk and disadvantaged youth. The past 20 auctions have raised over $77,500.

Call for Artists: Art in the Park

The Southwest Missouri Art and Craft Guild members members welcome you to apply for the 23rd annual Art in the Park Fine Art, Contemporary Craft Show and Sale in beautiful Sequiota Park in Springfield, Missouri. Art in the Park was created by artists for artists with thoughtful regard for professional artists who earn their livelihood from their work. Selection by jury is based on quality and originality to maintain its reputation among artists and patrons alike as being one of the few juried art and craft shows in the region.

Cardboard Chronicles

Christians in Visual Arts (CIVA) hosts an exhibit featuring paintings by Rudolph Bostic, an "outsider" artist who lives in Savannah, Georgia. He is a self-taught folk artist who paints scenes inspired by Biblical stories. It is entitled "Cardboard Chronicles" - as the name implies he uses very humble materials such as cardboard for his "canvases". This exhibit will run from May 5- June 21 at All Saints Church on Galloway.
