$100 and Under Art Market 2025

EVENT INFORMTION
The $100 and Under Art Market will feature our community's incredibly talented local makers, creators, and artists selling their handmade items. The Springfield Regional Arts Council has helped its member artists sell over $23,000 in art at the 2024 Market. This event has been held each December since 2016. This year, the Market will be open to the public during December's First Friday Art Walk, Friday, December 5, 2025, from 5 pm to 8 pm with a 4-5 pm invitation only VIP hour prior.

GENERAL INFORMATION
LOCATION:To be announced soon!
MARKET DATE & TIME: Friday, December 5, 2025 from 5 pm to 8 pm with a 4-5 pm VIP hour prior.
JURY INFORMATION:
• There is no fee to apply. If accepted, participating artists must be an Artist Member of the Springfield Regional Arts Council.
• All artists will be notified by Nov. 7, 2025
• The jury panel will consist of three independent, qualified jurors.
• Each entry will be considered solely on the merits of the works pictured in the images submitted.
• Each entry will be assigned a number and will be identified to the jurors by that number.
• The following factors will be considered in jurying:
o Overall Presentation: The body of work should be cohesive. Images submitted should be professional, inviting and complementary to the work.
o Craftsmanship: Work should be well-conceived and expertly executed.
o Originality: All work must be the original work of the artist. It should convey the individuality of the artist.
Up to 50 artists will be accepted and 5-10 alternates chosen. Alternates will be notified via email if a spot becomes available.
DIGITAL IMAGE SUBMISSION
Submit three to five images: Images should be representative of the work to be at the market.
IMPORTANT DATES
• October 7, 2025 Application deadline
• November 7, 2025 Jury notifications sent to artists by this date
• December 5, 2025 Market date
BOOTH INFORMATION
All artists will be supplied a 6-foot banquet style table to use as their booth. Artists are responsible for the rest of the booth set up.
All accepted artists need to be set up and ready for sales by 4 pm on the market date otherwise they forfeit their right to participate.
SALES INFORMATION
SRAC is responsible for checking out all patrons.
SRAC will retain a 25% commission on all sales made at the Market.
If accepted, all art brought to the event must be $100 or less.
All art must be priced in whole dollar amounts.
