Ken Richardson joined the Springfield Regional Arts Council in 2018, and immediately saw it as a huge benefit to his artistic success. "I had a sale the first time I showed," Ken says. "It's been such a positive experience."
The Sky Gallery, located inside the Springfield-Branson National Airport, is hosting 26 artists in a Still Life exhibit, on display now through May 13, 2019. The exhibit features photography, oil, acrylic, and metal sculpture.
SATO48 is a filmmaking challenge where creatives from Springfield And The Ozarks (SATO) form teams to compete in creating a five-minute short film over the course of a single weekend – 48 hours.
None of the teams know what their film must be about until they all open, simultaneously, a secret envelope (the “Inspiration Package”), which describes the criteria of the short film.
