We are Gearing up for Artsfest 2026!
Artsfest, presented by Great Southern Bank, is back and bigger than ever! Experience the region’s largest outdoor art festival, featuring 100+ artists from across the country. Tie-dye a shirt, watch live art come to life, shop local vendors, and savor food truck favorites, all in the heart of downtown Springfield.
Tickets are just $5 (kids 5 and under are free!)

Q: When is the festival?
A: Artsfest is always the first full weekend of May. In 2026, the festival will be held on May 2-3, 10am-5pm both days.Â
Q: Is there a cost to get in?
A: Yes, it is $5 per person with free admission for children 5 and under. Did you know proceeds from the event support the Springfield Regional Arts Councils’ programming all year long?Â
Q: How many artists will be participating this year?
A: We expect to see approximately 100 artists displaying their original works during Artsfest 2025.Â

Q: Where do I park?
A: The best parking entrances are West Walnut Street and South John Q. Hammons (JQH). Many free lots and garages are available around this area, and you can also park downtown and walk to the festival.Â
Q: I’m here for the food. Which food vendors will be at Artsfest?

Q: Are there things for my kids to do?
A: Absolutely! Kids of all ages are welcome at Artsfest. The SRAC has a kids art area featuring tie dye with complementary t-shirts. Performance stages are perfect places for a family dance party and nonprofit vendors will have hands on activities for the kids.
