Sponsored by the McQueary Family, “Ozarks Icons” invites you to delve into the heart and soul of the Ozarks through your art! From the historic stretches of Route 66 to the culinary masterpiece of Cashew Chicken, from the mysterious origins of our not - so - native cobras to the iconic Bob Barker Boulevard we want to celebrate the people, places, and ideas of this region we proudly call home.
We're looking for artwork that capture the essence of the Ozarks' spirit—its adventurous outdoors, its vibrant history, and its enduring charm. Whether it's a painting that brings to life the scenic beauty of our landscapes, a sculpture that embodies the pioneering spirit of our people, or a digital artwork that reimagines the legends of the Ozarks for the modern age, we want to see how the heart of this region beats within your creative veins.
Let the Ozarks be your muse and join us in showcasing the unique character of the Ozarks!
This show is open to all artists, regardless of SRAC membership status. Artists can submit up to three pieces of art to be delivered on August 29 or 30 between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm to The Creamery Arts Center.
When planning to submit please keep in mind:
Artwork can be up to 48 inches in any direction.
All hanging pieces must be wired and ready to hang. No saw-tooth hangers will be accepted.
Artwork cannot weigh more than 50 lbs.
All work should be signed and labeled with the title of the work and the artist's name on the back of the piece for identification purposes.
Prices will be required at the time of drop-off.

Ozarks Icons will open for the public reception at First Friday Art Walk on September 6 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm and will remain on display at The Creamery Arts Center throughout the month of September.
