After exchanging romantic correspondence with the mysterious Mr. Branwell, a naive young governess travels to a remote manor on the bleak Yorkshire moors. But rather than finding a family in need of her services, the only residents seem to be two eccentric sisters, a forlorn philosophical dog, and a very odd maid. There is definitely something creepy about the house and its inhabitants! With equal parts humor and horror, The Moors evokes the Victorian Gothic world of the Brontë sisters, where the windswept landscape reflects the isolation and suppressed passion of the characters!
