The Springfield Regional Arts Council is excited to announce their first Social Media Workshop! Led by local artist Ashley Laren, this workshop will be useful for both the novice user and frequent social poster. Topics covered will include growing a following, creating content across different platforms, scheduling posts, and more; anything an artist interested in growing their social media presence needs to know! The workshop will be on April 13th from 4:30 – 6 pm.
“Using social media, as an artist, has allowed me to create a community, learn from other creatives, and document my artistic journey. Social media is such a powerful tool for us to be able to use to build the world and career we want for ourselves as artists.” says Ashley Laren.
Resource materials will be provided to attendees and even artists who have a social media presence will take away additional information. “Social media can be a powerful tool for artists to expand their reach, stay connected with their fans, and find new opportunities. The SRAC is so exited to partner with local artist Ashley Laren to help our membership get a better understanding of social media best practices.” says Sarah Abele, SRAC Director of Marketing & Development.
This workshop is free for Springfield Regional Arts Council Members and only $20 for Non- Members.
Seating will be limited. To reserve your spot please contact Sarah Abele, Director of Marketing & Development via email at [email protected].
