Studio 55 Arts Guild of Springfield is a local arts organization that assists its members by, among other things, organizing and supporting exhibits to showcase members' art. Four exhibits in Springfield begin in February and are open to the public:
An exhibit at the Mud Lounge, 321 E. Walnut, will run from February through April and features a variety of styles and compositions. Sixteen works of art are on display by local artists Meike Aton, Ken Burstin, Nancy Day, Peggy Dyke, LaDonna Greiner, Linda Kirchner, Ann Kynion, Dawna Middleton, Andi Snethern, Carol Snyder, and Ursula Wollenburg. The Mud Lounge is a new exhibition site for Studio 55 members.
Studio 55 members Tracy Bruton and Steve McGuire are exhibiting 25 paintings and photographs at Bambinos Italian Cafe through April at 2810 E. Battlefield Road.
Studio 55 members Rick Atwell and Jane Troup are Walnut Street Inn's featured artists at 900 E. Walnut Ave.
