Attention Springfield Non-Profit Leaders:
The Community Grants Committee of Springfield Southeast Rotary is requesting submissions for the fall grant cycle for 2018-19 fiscal year.
A total of $5,000 is available to award for community-based projects and programs specifically dealing with health, hunger and literacy, although we look at any cause that serves the community. Preferences lean towards specific projects/programs (this can include money needed to complete a project/program) over general operating expense requests. Springfield Southeast allows a submission once every two fiscal years. Springfield Southeast Rotary typically awards between $500 - $1000 per submission.
The deadline is Friday, November 2, 2018 for online submissions; in-person presentations for finalists will be on Thursday, Nov. 15 starting at 1:15pm at Ocean Zen (4117 S National). Please plan to have a member of your staff attend in the event your organization is selected as a finalist. The application and additional information are available online: http://www.springfieldsoutheastrotary.org/community-grants
In addition to the information requested on the application, please include:
- A general budget for the how the funds will be used
- 501(c) 3 document of proof of non-profit status from the IRS (NOT the Missouri tax exempt letter)
Lastly, if your agency was awarded a grant during the past two Rotary fiscal years (July 1 - 2016 - June 30, 2018), please note that you are not eligible for this round.
