‘First Friday Art Walk’ Nov. 2 at Park Central Branch Library
Adults are invited to attend First Friday Art Walk from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, at the Park Central Branch Library, 128 Park Central Square.
Join us for First Friday Art Walk and the opening of a new exhibit. At 6 p.m. Madeline Brice, graduate of Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and art history, will present “Hildegard of Bingen and Elisabeth of Schönau: The Search for Female Agency.” On Display: Paintings by Sarah Jones.

At different points in their careers, Picasso and Braque used musical instruments as subject matter for their still-life works. For Mondrian and Pollock, music seemed to be a catalyst for creating something new and energetic.
