Friday, September 28 at Drury's Clara Thompson Hall

Our celebration of Leonard Bernstein's centennial begins with the Springfield premiere of Trouble in Tahiti, a jazzy operetta predating West Side Story and portraying a day in the life of a married couple navigating the challenges of the modern world.

Friday, November 16 at Hotel Vandivort Ballroom

In February of 1786, Emperor Joseph II of Austria set up a 'musical competition' in his Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna, pitting a German singspiel (Mozart's The Impresario) against an Italian opera buffa (Salieri's First the Music, then the Words).  Join us as we re-create this legendary confrontation in the beautiful Hotel Vandivort Ballroom!

Friday, April 5th at the Gillioz

Our 2018-2019 season ends with the Springfield premiere of Bernstein's beloved Candide, based on Voltaire's brilliant and satirical novel.  Journey to Westphalia and follow the outrageous adventures of Candide and Cunegonde as they seek peace and love.
