Many of Springfield’s cultural mainstays thrive because of the work of the late Donna Crosby. As a passionate supporter of the Springfield Little Theatre, Donna joined the Board of Directors in 1970, and helped secure The Landers as the company’s permanent home. In addition to the theatre, Donna raised funds to secure well-known artists such as Mikhail Baryshnikov and Carol Channing to perform in Springfield. Her efforts in supporting the arts extended even further, as a volunteer for the Springfield Regional Opera and The Springfield Art Museum, and serving on the John Q. Hammons Salute to the Performing Arts Committee. Donna previously received the Individual Ozzie Award in 1991, and this year’s Legacy Award is being accepted on Donna’s behalf by her daughter, Kim Crosby.
Come celebrate Donna Crosby's legacy, and all she has contributed to the arts in the area, at this year's Ozzie Awards. This festive gala includes gourmet food from touch, dazzling conversations with the area's best and brightest, and live musical performances. Sean Spyres of the Springfield Regional Opera will perform on behalf of Donna and her family.
