Featured on KSMU: Sense of Community

Founded in 2007 by Barbara Deegan, the Ozark String Project provides string instruments and education to students in the Ava area.

KSMU's "Sense of Community" is focusing on poverty and education in its current series. Rachel Johnson, Director of Programs and Exhibits, stopped by the KSMU studio and chatted with Randy Stewart about some of the SRAC's efforts on providing arts education for at-risk students. Programs include Any Given Child Springfield and Growing Up in the Arts.
