The Springfield-Branson National Airport has become known for its Ozarks-inspired décor: riverbed carpets, swimming fish, and spacious glass to highlight the Midwest blue skies. With this theme in mind, The Sky Gallery invites artists to create pieces inspired by the Ozark’s splendor.
Springfield Regional Arts Council artists are encouraged to submit a 2D work of art of any media to be on display at The Sky Gallery from August 13, 2019 through November 13, 2019. Pieces selected will be a part of the Ozzie Awards Art Gala, held on Saturday, October 19th.

2019 Kids and Teens Art Contest!
Neosho Arts Council is pleased to present the 24th Annual Thomas Hart Benton Art Competition and Exhibition. Works will be displayed at the Big Spring Gallery inside the Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce. Artists are eligible to enter in either the "Emerging" category or "Professional" category. The "Emerging" category is for artists who are students or who are not represented by galleries or have held professional exhibitions. The "Professional" category is open to all artists.

Queen City of the Ozarks. SGF. Birthplace of Route 66. Springfield, Missouri is known for many wonderful things, and we'd love to see how it inspires you artistically.
Finley River Gallery will host a juried “GO BIG” that is open to the public July 27-Aug 10. Entries must be at least 24 x 30” or 720 sq. Inches, and no larger than 48 x 60 in.
If it is a diptych or triptych it must fit into those same measurements, plus 1 in” between pieces.
Entries are due July 17-20th.
There is a $10.00 entry fee for members, 15.00 for nonmembers and a limit of 1 entry per person.
Reception and awards will be July 26, 6:30 - 7:30.
Call for Entries – ‘Celebrating Heritage’ Art Show and Competition at St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre
Pick a culture, any culture, and you might just be a winner.
The St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre is seeking entries for its “Celebrating Heritage” art show and competition that will be on display from July 11-Sept. 1, 2019. All works submitted for this show must demonstrate a culture and its traditions.
Amateur and professional artists are welcome to enter the competition.
Soon, some patients at Cox South will have a new kind of visitor: A musician, who will come play at their bedsides.
The initiative is part of Musicians On Call, a nationwide nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients.

InSITE 2020 from The Downtown STL Public Art Initiative invites artists to propose temporary public artworks based on their own ideas and art practices at sites of their own choosing in the core of Downtown St. Louis. Projects must be installed in the spring of 2020, and can be on view from one month to one year.
