Evangel’s 36th Annual Christmas Concert, Dec. 6

The Evangel University Department of Music will present its 36th Annual Christmas Concert on Friday, December 6, at 7:00 p.m. in the Robert H. Spence Chapel.

More than 200 musicians will be performing in a variety of ensembles, including the Evangel University Orchestra, University Chorus, University Chorale, Men’s Vocal Ensemble, Women’s Chamber Ensemble, HeartSong, and the ever-popular Jazz Orchestra.

The Evangel University Orchestra will present its Fall Concert on Thursday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Robert H. Spence Chapel Auditorium.

The concert is free and open to the public. The Spence Chapel is located south of the main entrance to campus, at 1111 N. Glenstone Ave.

The Evangel University Theatre Program will present three performances of Richard Nash’s classic play The Rainmaker on Friday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 2, at 2 and 7 p.m.

The play will be presented in Evangel’s fine arts theatre. The entrance to the Barnett Fine Arts Center is just south of the Spence Chapel, at 1111 N. Glenstone Ave. in Springfield.

 Six performances of the six-time Tony Award winning musical My Fair Lady will be presented by Evangel University in the Fine Arts Theatre this spring.

The production will premiere on March 28, 29 at 7:00 p.m., with a 2:00 p.m. matinee on Saturday, March 30. A second weekend of shows are scheduled for April 11-13 at 7 p.m.
