Registration is underway for adults age 18 and older to attend Harry Potter Paper Crafts from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, in the Library Center Story Hour Room, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

Want to add a little Harry Potter magic to your home decor? Make Harry Potter silhouette pictures and origami Forbidden Forest trees to add that magical touch. Materials will be provided.

Indelible images of horror from film and classic literature have inspired artists and illustrators for generations. Artists D.A. Frizell, illustrator for “Bender: The Complete Saga,” and Gary Bedell and Adam McLaughlin, illustrators for the upcoming “Graveyard Slaughter,” discuss classic horror artists and illustrations and how they inspire their artwork.
