Growing up and living in the Ozarks has deeply influenced my artwork. While my artistic practice is an intricate balance between chaos and creation I have found the rugged beauty of the Ozarks landscape serves as both a sanctuary and a source of inspiration for my paintings. As I immerse myself in the act of painting I find solace in the fluidity of colors echoing the dynamic nature of my thought processes. The vibrant hues, like fragments of the kaleidoscope, speak to the way in which I organize and navigate my inner world. Just as the Ozarks are characterized by their unwavering resilience and adaptability, so too do I strive to mirror that strength in overcoming personal obstacles. The ever-changing seasons and natural cycles of the Ozarks are reflective of the ebb and flow of my own life, fostering a profound connection that I have recently discovered between my art and the land that surrounds me. Through my vibrant and saturated in color paintings, I seek to capture the timeless essence and perseverance of the Ozarks, while also expressing the never ceasing intricacies of my own journey.
