Photography is my happy place. Time stands still for me when I go outside, camera in hand, to capture all the weird and beautiful things I find in nature. I started as a portrait photographer while living in New England. I then owned and operated a very successful commercial studio in Northern Colorado, where I won awards for my nature and portrait photography. Several of my images and articles have been published in magazines and other media. I still shoot portraits of pets and children, but my primary focus now is fine art and nature photography.
