Local artist creating with acrylics on canvas. Born in southwest Missouri, I lived in Missouri most of my life but spent several years in Iowa and Texas. I currently reside with my husband of 14 years and our 2 children. I create art in my free time and love to share it with others.
I love working with various mediums but acrylics have a special place in my heart. I love to get in front a the canvas and just see what takes form. I generally don't have too much of a premeditated idea of what I want to create when I start painting but instead let the art speak to me. I like to be surprised by my results and be led by an emotion, color, texture, season, or some other idea.
