• Biographical Info:

  Jake Heaps is a visual and sculptural artist based in Springfield Missouri. He primarily works as a realistic equine sculptor, 3d modeling and producing original sculptures celebrating the beauty of the horse. However, he has also licensed several sculptures for use in commercial toy production, and dabbles in flatwork acrylic and gouache paintings. In his free time, he works advocating for foster children, and channels his own experiences with childhood trauma into his paintings.

  Some art is made for the audience, some art is made for the artist. I try to balance the two to create a career worth waking up for each morning
